Update November 2022 Some of you may be worrying that Arts Roundup has ceased trading - read on to find out about some hope for the future and a new and refreshed service. Arts Roundup is being given a refresh since Richard and Chris decided recently to hang up their boots and hand it over to someone new, so whilst the service will continue, there will be some changes over the next few months and it will have to start slowly. Eventually it may have a new name and a new identity but for now Arts Roundup | What's On Norfolk is good.
Going forward, the leaflet distribution service will be run by Andrew Stitt and Maja Shreeve who have been involved with Arts RoundUp for many years with help from Marion Catlin (Culture Shift Norwich, Art in Norwich, Music in Norwich). They will be backed up by an arts marketing group who use and value the service. It will be non-profit although the main team members will be paid for their work.
Following Covid and the challenges of the last couple of years, it will take a little while to build it up to full strength. The plan is to add some level of digital marketing to the essential leaflet rack distribution service if demand and capacity allows.
Initially, the racks will be repositioned and targeted to spots where we know there is good footfall and pick-up and then the locations will be extended as the system gets refreshed.
If your venue can accommodate a rack, we would like to know. There is a standard leaflet rack/spinner or smaller racks if you don't have so much space - in any case we would like to hear from you.
We are also trying to find somewhere in the city centre to operate from, so if you know a garage sized space with good access please get in touch. There is a price tariff for the most common leaflet/booklet formats but please get in touch if you have an unusual formats or very large quantities. We will be coming along to ask you some questions so that we can re-design the service in the most effective way.
Please be patient while we work out how to build the service back up after a very difficult time. Please get in touch of you have print to distribute email [email protected]
